Numerical models used in this study are: the K–ε, and large eddy simulation (LES), models. Due to lack of parametric studies about single and/or multiple stacks, the main objective of this study is to cover this area. It covers a very wide range of input parameters and takes large computational efforts and long run time. It is easy to change boundary conditions, simulate actual environmental conditions, easy to post process the output data. Numerical predictions are the easiest procedure in air pollution studies. It needs large effort in the experiments setup, considerably long measurements time and difficulties to change the boundary conditions. Experimental measurements are employed to simulate actual cases. Field measurements are actual measurements of real cases, which need expensive equipments and in some cases subjected to severe environmental conditions. The techniques used in studying air pollution problem are namely field measurements, experimental measurements (in laboratories) and numerical predictions. This situation affects greatly the health and overall activity of humans. Air pollution may reach unacceptable limits. Pollution is one of the most problems facing the developing countries.
